“Successful”

blog

When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?

When I think “successful” I think of Mel Robbins, because:

1. She is a best selling author

2. She has a popular podcast

3. She is AUTHENTIC

I love listening to Mel, because she just comes off as such a real human being! She is constantly writing and recording while also being a wife, as well as a mother to three adult children. She tells it like it is and with her interviews, it seems like she has access to all of these very smart, successful people. I love that she didn’t start her podcast until she was 54, and she completely blew the game out of the water. She’s definitely someone I admire and I’d love to meet one day.

Full Moon Post

blog

I am so proud of myself for having hard conversations and speaking up even when it was uncomfortable. I am proud of putting my healing and goals ahead of my feelings, and actually stepping into my authentic self. I am proud of how dedicated I have been to the things I care most about: my relationship with my life partner, and my mental health. I can trust myself to follow through, and I can trust that I can get through anything. I choose faith over fear and I prioritize peace and love.

This full moon, I release any negative thoughts and self doubt that is limiting me from reaching my goals. I release the fears and worries that reside in my mind, as they were never mind to hold onto. I release the need for approval and for perfection, as I have had everything I’ve needed within me all along. I release what is no longer serving me or my authentic self, and I step into the person I am meant to be.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you 🌕✨

Favorite People

blog

Who are your favorite people to be around?

My fiancé is my favorite person to be around for an infinite number of reasons, but if I had to narrow it down to one it would probably be his nervous system. What I mean by that is he is always so calm and confident that whatever happens will be okay, and he seems so regulated. When I am having a stressful time, I can feel it all melt away when I am in his arms.

As far as the general idea of favorite people: I love the people who are real, who are direct and who are kind. I don’t appreciate lying and I’d much rather someone be honest about who they are and what they like, and fully embrace and express their true selves. I love people who laugh a lot and don’t take life too seriously, because in reality, none of us make it out alive.
