Do you need a break? From what?
I could use a break from the constant pressure of being active on socials, grinding to pay bills, and just feeding into the consumption culture.

Describe an item you were incredibly attached to as a youth. What became of it?
I was very attached to my pink Nintendo DS. I always had it on me when I was hanging with my neighbor friends, using Pictochat and taking care of my Nintendogs. Eventually I got a bit older and had misplaced my DS for quite a while (I actually thought one of my friends stole it) and a couple years later I found it in an old tea set box of mine. I used it for a bit after that, but then decided to sell it to one of my coworkers who wanted it for his girlfriend! Honestly, to this day, I regret that decision. I wish I still had my DS and my original Nintendogs, but such is life LOL!
What are your thoughts on the concept of living a very long life?
The concept sounds great if you have more blessings than stressings if you know what I mean LOL 😂
What is the greatest gift someone could give you?
The greatest gifts are love and good health. Some can give love, but only I can work on giving myself good health. It wouldn’t hurt if someone gifted me high quality supplements so I could jump start the journey and not have to spend an arm and a leg, but I’d also never ask anyone for that. In this moment, the greatest gift would be someone paying off my car for me honestly! My lease is up in May and I am ready to buy it, I just would prefer to use someone else’s money of course LOL!
What relationships have a positive impact on you?
My relationship with my husband has the most positive impact on me. Our relationship is the most impotent thing to me, and I am so grateful we have a healthy, happy marriage. We spent over a decade building the foundation, which has only brought more confidence and assurance.
I have wonderful friendships as well that are genuine and full of mutual support. Each friendship I have is very special and I feel loved in every friendship I have!
My mother and I have a great relationship as well, and we talk pretty much every weekday on my way home from work which I appreciate. I know she is my biggest supporter and loves me unconditionally.
I’m grateful for the relationship I have with my Grandma, although with her being a couple hours away I don’t see her as often as I’d like to. When we do chat and hang out, I always feel seen and heard.
My aunts on my mom’s side are also very fun and supportive as well. I also don’t see them often, but when I do we all have a good time!
How have your political views changed over time?
I’ve started to recognize that people can get way too involved and make politics their entire lives and I am not someone who wants to do that. I know true change comes from paying attention to local elections as much as the major ones.
Tell us about your first day at something — school, work, as a parent, etc.
First day of work- why do I feel like it was not very eventful? I feel like I don’t even really remember it, but maybe I was just so anxious I blocked it out LOL! I’m not a parent, and school was so long ago I don’t remember that at all.
What skills or lessons have you learned recently?
A repeated lesson that keeps coming up for me is that worrying/stressing out is so not necessary. Fear and stress are part of the ego, while faith is part of the soul. I feel lighter and happier in general when I operate on a soul level, having faith in the divine.
What technology would you be better off without, why?
I’ll say smart phones, because I think it’s still important to have a mobile phone to be able to reach someone in an emergency, but I don’t think we need access to all these apps/internet. It’s nice to be able to access emails and what not, but most apps are just distractions.
What book are you reading right now?
I just barely started reading Letting Go by David Hawkins, as well as listening to the audible version of No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz. I also have an audible download that I want to start listening to called The Midnight Library by Matt Haig!
