What historical event fascinates you the most?
Probably the Salem Witch Trials because all of that shit was wild and bogus how people contradict their own rules just to murder people.

What alternative career paths have you considered or are interested in?
I often dream of being an author or podcaster. I am lacking in putting any effort into that at this current time, but that would be a cool change!
What food would you say is your specialty?
My family recipe of poppyseed bread!! It’s always a hit, and no, it’s not lemon poppyseed bread.
How much would you pay to go to the moon?
As much as I love the moon, I don’t think you could actually pay me to go there LOL.
What makes a good neighbor?
Someone who doesn’t scream at and abuse their significant others and minds their own business. That definitely sounds like the bare minimum (and is LOL), but we have a crazy neighbor and at this point, we just appreciate the neighbors who are nothing like him. We also don’t have kids or anything currently, and I hear my coworkers talk about how they have nice neighbors who will help them with their kids and/or bus stop things which I find to be very nice! Basically neighbors who are helpful when needed, and mind their business all the rest of the time!
What are you most proud of in your life?
I’m proud of the fact that even though I grew up in chaos and had traumatic experiences, I still choose to grow and not allow that to turn me into a bitter person.
When you think of the word “successful,” who’s the first person that comes to mind and why?
When I think “successful” I think of Mel Robbins, because:
1. She is a best selling author
2. She has a popular podcast
3. She is AUTHENTIC
I love listening to Mel, because she just comes off as such a real human being! She is constantly writing and recording while also being a wife, as well as a mother to three adult children. She tells it like it is and with her interviews, it seems like she has access to all of these very smart, successful people. I love that she didn’t start her podcast until she was 54, and she completely blew the game out of the water. She’s definitely someone I admire and I’d love to meet one day.
What would you do if you lost all your possessions?
Probably cry and then make sure to pay attention to what I still have and be grateful for that. In reality, the things that truly matter are not to be possessed. Love is to be shared. Connection is to be shared. Laughter is better shared with loved ones. If I lost all of my possessions, I think it would wake me up to the fact that they were never as important as they were made out to be.
What’s your all-time favorite album?
Probably Pure Heroine by Lorde. Swimming by Mac Miller is up there too, as well as SOS (+ Deluxe Lana) by SZA.
What would your life be like without music?
I absolutely love music. Singing, dancing, just having it on in the background- I always prefer to have music on. I love finding songs that give me goosebumps and bring tears to my eyes. I was just talking with my coworker yesterday about music and how I think about what my future children will say they grew up listening to. For me, my parents listened to a lot of Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Smashing Pumpkins, etc. Lots of loud, I’d even say angry music. My husband grew up listening to a lot of classic old school R&B, more calm, love songs.
I would much rather our future children grow up in a household of calm, loving music. I think of Cleo Sol, Giveon, Khamari, Tems, Khalid, Masego; when I listen to music like this, I feel quiet centered and calm. Whether or not the music actually had an effect on us, I’d say our personalities kind of actually match the music my husband and I listened to as kids. I feel like come off more chaotic and irritable, while my husband is calm and respectful.
