How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?
Honestly, I’m struggling with setting and completing goals. I’m going to start seeing a new therapist soon as I feel like I just yap the whole sessions with my current one and it feels more like just venting to a friend, but I’d prefer some structure and guidance. I have a very “all or nothing” mindset which can put me into some unhealthy extremes, and I need to figure out ways to deal with it and learn to trust myself more.
What’s a secret skill or ability you have or wish you had?
I wish I had the ability to automatically know if something is true or false and/or I wish I had an infinite database of true historical events in my brain.
I love an early summer day: 78 degrees, no humidity, a very light breeze and barely any clouds in the sky. I can’t wait for that to be the consistent weather here! I’m ready to go on walks and just sit outside and read!
I am definitely still bad at taking in a compliment and really sitting in it, which is one of the reasons I am having a hard time recalling the best compliment I’ve ever received. I remember having a conversation on the phone with one of my best friends, and I remember she was telling me that I am a genuine friend/human being and how I have inspired her in many ways, and I remember feeling really good about that.
Honestly, now that I’ve gotten older and stopped looking at everyone as being immature or “copying” me, I now feel so much joy in seeing others be influenced by me- in good ways of course. An example I have is recently I had some of my friends over for crafting and I ended up having them try some of the green juice I had recently made with my juicer! The girls loved it and now two of them actually got juicers of their own and are making great juice for their own families! One of them has even asked me for the green juice recipe I made!
When I was a teenager, I may have gotten bothered or been like “omg get your own thing!” but as a 30 year old women who is always inspired by others, I recognize that they were simply inspired by me! It feels amazing honestly, and I’m sure little me would be so proud of me today.
What is the biggest challenge you will face in the next six months?
Probably keeping my inner peace in a world of chaos. Also, balancing screen time and “being informed” with actually just enjoying life and not feeling selfish about it.
My dream home has a finished basement and a backyard big enough to have a fire pit, and trampoline, and a hot tub! I’d also love to have a sauna if we’re talking about dream home!
Are you patriotic? What does being patriotic mean to you?
This is a hard question to answer right now, considering we are all collectively awakening to the fact that our country and/or possibly the entire world is being run by elite pedophiles who rape, abuse and EAT other humans! If that is what our country and world is based on, then no- I am not patriotic. I do not support that leadership or any evil being who has raped, murdered, abused or eaten another human. In reality, I believe that most people on this earth actually do NOT support that behavior either, nor do they respect any of these people as being “powerful” or “leaders” – they’re literal demons on earth.
Probably the smart phone, although my husband and I joke about ditching the iPhones for old school Blackberries LOL. I always wanted one of those, as well as a pink razor phone.
